We proudly sell local eggs from LangSon Farms and want to share their story!

The McColeman family started out by raising food for their growing family and the farm grew from there.  They believe that it is important for their animals to be given the time and respect they need to grow.  The chickens free-range outdoors through the spring and summer, and enjoy the warmth of an old bank barn in the winter. They eat grains, lots of wild berries, grubs, and treats from the family gardens.

The McColemans believe that food grown on healthy land with healthy farming practices produces a healthy product.  They act as stewards of this land, caring for its health to support your family and theirs by using regenerative farming practices.

Many ask where the LangSon Farms name comes from.  Years ago, they traveled to the beautiful mountain province of LangSon in Northern Vietnam to bring home one of their children.  When they bought the farm in 2003, Rob wanted to name it after this province so it would be everyone’s home.

This 54-acre parcel of land in Wellington County has been their home for over twenty years. They feel privileged to care for this farmland and teach the next generation the importance of sustainable agriculture and regenerative farming.  They are excited to pass on their love of the land and their animals to their family and community.

With all of this love and care – it’s no wonder their eggs are delicious!
