Paula and Dave started Salad Days Farm in 2016 near Belwood, just 10 minutes northeast of Fergus. They grow organic vegetables ranging from their famous salad mix to spinach, swiss chard, kale, radishes, carrots, beets, and much more.
Before starting Salad Days, Paula worked for Fresh City Farms (an urban farm in Toronto) and Dave worked for the Town of Oakville as a GIS (Geographic Information System) Specialist.
They are committed to nurturing their soil, reducing their environmental impact, and feeding their community. They are passionate about reconnecting people with their food (just like us!)
In 2021 they opened their farm store which is open Thursdays to Saturdays from May to October. We highly recommend a visit to see their farm located at 6794 6th Line, Belwood!
