Celebrate the Harvest at Fraberts
Fall is a great time to eat local – lots of delicious local bounty such as apples, everbearing strawberries and raspberries, sweet corn, squash, tomatoes and much, much more to choose from. Celebrate the harvest with us on Saturday, September 29 at our annual Harvest Festival. From 11am – 4pm we will have free samples and some of our wonderful suppliers on hand to discuss their products. Thanksgiving is Around the Corner…
Be prepared – Thanksgiving immediately follows our Harvest Festival on the weekend of October 5-8! Order your turkey or other holiday food by Friday, September 28 to avoid disappointment. Every year we receive rave reviews about our fresh, local turkey. Looking for an alternative to turkey? Sheldon Creek Dairy
Our dairy selection is expanding again with the addition of Sheldon Creek fresh whole milk products. Their cream-top milk is natural and nutritious, because they believe in doing less – not more – when it comes to milk. They pasteurize their milk at the lowest temperature possible – 73 degrees for just 16 seconds, then bottled for your enjoyment. Their milk is not homogenized, so the milk naturally separates into milk and cream, just like in the old days. Shake the cream into the milk, drink it or skim it off and enjoy in your cooking.
