Pipes, Plaid, and Fraberts to Rock Downtown Fergus!

Fergus’ historic downtown will come alive on Thursday, August 11th at 7:30pm to kick off the 66th annual Fergus Scottish Festival and Highland Games with a parade.

We are thrilled that the champion Toronto Rock Lacrosse Club will be part of this year’s parade.  Even more exciting, the Fraberts family will also be participating!  Come and see us all decked out in our finest Scottish splendor (Fraser tartan, of course) and get your Fraberts gift  to celebrate our world class Scottish Festival and Highland Games!

Downtown Fergus Movie Night

The Fergus BIA, Martin Cooper Hair Design, Cherry Hill Entertainment, and the Fergus Scottish Festival and Highland Games are pleased to present a downtown Fergus outdoor family movie night to follow the parade.

The WaterHorse will be presented in an open air theatre located at Stone Gable Hall at 181 St. Andrew St East on Thursday, August 11, 2011. The movie starts at dusk, at approximately 9pm, following the parade.  Bring your lawn chairs and join us!

Great Local Produce

Peaches, Van Tols sweet corn (the BEST sweet corn in town by far!), apricots, blueberries, wild blueberries, plums, raspberries, strawberries, local garlic, veggies, tomatoes etc etc… It’s a great time of year!

Cooking Classes

Many have been asking when our next cooking class will be – stay tuned as we are working on one for September.
