Fraberts Fresh Food

Local produce, ready made meals & catering

Summertime and the Livin’ is Easy

June 27

Summertime….and the living is easy!

Make Fraberts a FUN part of your relaxing summertime food shopping routine!  No massive store or huge parking lot to navigate – just a small, friendly, family-owned food market that has the best in summertime eating.

Our meat counter features our delicious (and quickly becoming legendary, thanks to the tutelage of Graham Dalziel, and Chefs Jay and Derek’s unlimited creativity) store-made sausages, juicy burgers (all meat, no filler), flavourful locally-raised chicken, pork, and the best steaks in town!  We also have a wide selection of deli salads – from staples such as potato, coleslaw, and pasta to unique salads such as quinoa and maple curry bean – to complement our meat counter.

Of course a highlight of summertime eating is local produce and that is our claim to fame!  Strawberries are currently at their peak, asparagus is winding down…lots of local veggies from peas, beans, radish, spinach, lettuces, kale, and swiss chard and NEW potatoes – every week brings something new.

Its summertime – take the drudgery out of grocery shopping and see how much more fun (and tasty) shopping Fraberts is!

Happy Canada Day!

Celebrate with great local food – we’ve got everything you need to make your BBQ delicious AND relaxing.  We also have lots of great snacks.

We’re open on Wednesday, July 1 – Canada Day – from 10-5.

Happy Birthday Fraberts!

Saturday, May 24
11:00am-2:00pm

It’s our 6th birthday and we are having a party!  It’s been quite a journey – in six short years we’ve had many great times and a few challenges too – awards, expansions, bridge closures , terrific community support, ice storms, fun downtown events, and the “winter from retail hell”.  Through it all we have grown, adapted and survived.

We want to celebrate with you – our community who has made our dream possible.  We’ll have samples and demos from some of our favourite suppliers as well as our own tasty products.

We Need a Tag Line!

After 6 years it’s time for us to finally decide on a “tag line” – and we need your help.  What one liner do you think sums up Fraberts Fresh Food?  What should I end my radio ads with?  What should we have on the side of our van, on our website, on our Facebook page?

Every entry will get you a ballot to win $50 in Fraberts bucks for free groceries!  Post it on our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/fraberts) or Twitter (@fraberts), email it to jfraser@frabertsfreshfood.com, or write it down and bring it to the store.
